Best Desserts in Paniqui

Modern architecture with lots of natural light and a great view on the second floor terrace.

Best Desserts in Paniqui, Tarlac – In a town that’s as warm as Paniqui, Tarlac, a place dedicated for halo halo is a must. That’s why Ben’s Halo Halo exists. Not only does this dessert shop help locals beat the heat, it also attracts casual diners with “balikbayans” who missed and craves this all-time favorite Pinoy dessert.

Ben’s Classic Halo Halo at Php 85
Ben’s Macapuno Halo Halo is my personal favourite at Php 110.
Ben’s Mais con Yelo is a generous serving at Php 85.
Ben’s Saging con Yelo at Php 85
The famous Ben’s Spicy Halo Halo at Php 85, has a mild kick but still complementing the sweetness of the milk.

Opening on April 1st just before the Holy Week, Ben’s Halo Halo is located on the corner of Pasuquin and Clark streets. It is on a very quiet residential street so you can expect a quiet and private dining experience.

Classic Spaghetti cooked in sweet Filipino style.
Beef Broccoli was the best pasta dish. The sauce fits the beef and the broccoli so well. Plus, it’s not a usual pasta dish served in town.
Tuna Carbonara had generous tuna flakes and bits.

The menu is not limited to the cold dessert only. They also serve pasta, rice meals, nachos and sandwiches.

Over-all, the experience is great because they have one of the best dining ambience in town. The food is also delicious and fairly priced. The waiting time is a bit long, but like they always say, it’s worth the the wait.

Ben’s take on the classic Adobo is a bit too sweet, bordering the Beef Tapa sauce. But the meat was tender and still a pleasure. Just not the usual adobo we have at home.
Chicken Club House is a must try, too. The crunchiness of the chicken compliments the soft bread and crispy lettuce.

My final verdict:
