Nights at Tom’s Grill

Nights at Tom’s Grill Paniqui Tarlac – A few years ago, nights in Paniqui Tarlac are sleepy, quiet, involves a kulambo and usually ends at 8pm. By 9pm, everyone is in their homes and the streets look like of a ghost town. Fast forward to this decade, restobars started sprouting, giving locals and tourists an option to stay out late at night. A recent addition to Paniqui’s growing night scene is Tom’s Grill.

Located along Sta Rosa Street, Tom’s Grill opened last September 2017. As a functioning daytime restaurant, it offers a wide selection of rice, pasta meals from appetizers, to pizza to milkshakes and desserts. At night, it has a legitimate bar that offers beer buckets (which only costs Php 395 with pulutan!), tequila, wine and various pulutan from picca picca to hot soup.

But Tom’s Grill‘s biggest attraction are its KTV stage for public singing (Php 10 per song) and its KTV room (Php 1000 for three hours with Php 700 consumable of drinks or food) for private singing. And what a hit it is to Paniqueños who are music lovers!

Their Appetizer lists from Beef Nachos (Php 150 seen above), Fish and chips (Php 120 seen below), Fish Fillet fingers, Fries, Gambas to Calamares.

For non-drinkers like me, Tom’s Grill offers rice meals from affordable silogs at Php 80-90 to sizzling meals (like sisig, liempo, etc at Php 110) to more specialties like caldereta, kare kare, baby back ribs and more. For groups of six to ten persons, they have four affordable bundle treats to choose from.

Home-made Pizzas are one of Tom’s Grill’s highlights. This pepperoni only costs Php 218. They have classic pizza, hawaiian, supreme and garlic shrimp.

Although I would not recommend this place for casual diners especially at night, privacy can be enjoyed during daytime or if you rent the KTV room. Otherwise, this place exudes a party vibe, best enjoyed by barkadas or groups with matching strobe lights and loud music. Oh yes, party! Would I still want to want to dine again at Tom’s Grill? Definitely yes! I think their pasta and pizza are great and they don’t charge much for decent food.

My final verdict:

Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Venue: ⭐⭐

Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
