Puggy Cuppies Cafe

Puggy Cuppies Cafe is a pet friendly coffee shop in Paniqui, Tarlac

Puggy Cuppies Cafe Paniqui, Tarlac – A dog lover’s paradise, Puggy Cuppies Cafe is located beside Brickos Printing Shop along Sta Rosa Street.

Who let the pugs out?

This coffee shop is on the second floor of the building with two entrances. It may be difficult to find but this only adds to its private appeal. Not too crowded, even on weekends.

The place is not too crowded and has a relaxing ambience to anyone who just wants a quiet and delicious meal

The cafe opened on June 2017 and to tell honestly, I thought this was like that cat cafe in Japan where you can chill and dine with the cute felines. But it wasn’t. Although there were pug photos, artworks and toys to compensate. You can also ask for the resident pug, Maggie, if she is available for a selfie.

Guess where we found the best Quesadillas in town. And the cheapest ones too. Two wraps for only Php 55.

Most importantly, the food is good here. Mostly inspired by Mexican dishes – like nachos and quesadillas and their equally amazing salsa. They also offer pasta and rice meals. All budget friendly.

This plate of good old spaghetti with two garlic breads on the side is only for Php 125. Good for two persons.
Solo order of their beef nachos is generously filled with the amazing salsa for Php 70. They have a bigger version for sharing at Php 130.
No need to travel to neighboring town, Camiling for the famous roasted pork dish. Puggy Cuppies offer Lechon Camiling at Php90 with rice and mixed veg on the side.

Coffee lovers will love their frappes. But I am not a coffee drinker myself so a great non-caffeine menu would easily make me as their “suki” (patron). Thankfully, Puggy Cuppies beverages range from smoothies, milk shakes, milk tea and flavored iced tea. For the record, the green apple smoothie is the best smoothie in town.

L-R: Strawberry Oreo milkshake, green apple smoothie, Lychee iced tea and wintermelon milk tea
Puggy offers the Cheesy Bacon Bombs, an upgraded version of the chips we are used to at Php 75.
This plate of seasoned chicken breast covered with crunchy breading is called the peppered chicken fingers may be enjoyed solo for Php80 and for a group at Php150

So if you are in town, don’t forget to put this place on your list, especially if you want a relaxing place with yum snacks and smoothies. But if you’re a local and in love with these furry canines, the more you should pay Puggy Cuppies a visit.
